Crisis
Residential Services:
The Wood Group provides
Crisis Residential Services that
are designed to provide 24 hour supervision of a resident for a
short period of time in order to be observed and assessed by the
Community MHMR Center. The length of stay in this program is
normally limited to seven to ten days. Psychosocial Programming
is a part of the Crisis Residential Program offered to the
residents. Residents in this program must be able to self
administer medications. All medications are monitored and
maintained by trained Crisis Residential Staff.
Crisis
Respite Services:
The Wood Group provides
Crisis Respite Services that are
designed to provide 24 hour supervision of a resident for a
limited time. The resident stay in the Crisis Respite
Bed is determined by the need of the resident and the nature of
their crisis. Residents in this program must be able to self
administer medications. All medications are monitored and
maintained by trained Crisis Respite Staff.
Transitional Living Services:
The Wood Group provides Transitional Living Services that are designed to provide 24
hour supervision of a resident to allow that resident to
transition from a restrictive living environment to an
independent living structure. Residents of this program will
also be provided with psychosocial skills programs preparing
them to transition to the least restrictive environment they are
comfortable with. Residents in this program must be able to self
administer medications. All medications are monitored and
maintained by trained Transitional Living Staff.
Assisted Living Services:
The Wood Group provides Assisted Living Services that are
designed to provide 24 hour supervision of a resident for an
extended stay. Persons who utilize Assisted Living Beds normally
will be in the program for an extended amount of time. The
length of services is determined by the need of the resident.
Residents in this program must be able to self administer
medications. All medications are monitored and maintained by
trained Assisted Living Staff.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Training Services:
The Wood Group contracts with Community MHMR Centers to provide
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Training Services to
consumers of the Centers. The services are provided under
arrangement with the local Community MHMR Center. The consumers
are provided both individual and group units. The amount of
services received by each individual in the program is
determined by assessments made by the Community MHMR Center. The
services are provided both on site and in the community.
Supported Housing Services:
The Wood Group contracts with Community MHMR Centers to provide
Supported Housing Services to Mental Health Consumers in
their community setting. The majority of these services are
provided to our consumers who have been through our residential
programs and request us to continue to provide services in their
community setting.
Transportation Services:
The Wood Group contracts with individual Community MHMR Centers
to provide Transportation Services for consumers of our
programs. The transportation services are developed by a joint
process of the Community Center and The Wood Group.
Consulting Services:
The Wood Group will
contract with Community MHMR Centers or other Mental Health
Service Providers to provide in-depth information on developing
Residential Programs to serve their community. The
information provided in the
Consulting Services will assist
the Community MHMR Center from finding a suitable property to
obtaining a license.
Intellectual and
Developmental Disability
Services (IDD):
The Wood Group provides
Crisis Respite Services
for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
in a 24-hour supervised residential facility. These
services are for both adults and children. The Wood Group
also provides community support services to individuals and groups
with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The
services that are provided are based upon the needs of the
individual.
Veterans Administration
Residential Services:
The Wood Group provides Short Term
Respite beds to Veterans through the Veterans Administration in
Big Spring, Texas. The Wood Group works with the Big Spring
Veterans Administration to ensure Residents receive quality
Residential and Clinical services. Residential Services are
provided to Veterans based on admission criteria developed by
the Veterans Administration.
Emergency Disaster
Services:
The Wood Group provides Emergency
Disaster Services for Mental Health Consumers who are in a
threatening or occurring event of such destructive magnitude and
force as to dislocate people. The Wood Group will provide
alternative housing for persons who wre displaced.
